You’re a bride-to-be and you’ve checked your wedding dress off your list. You think you’re all done, then it hits you… the wedding rehearsal. Shoot! What to wear?
The easiest… a rehearsal dress.
A rehearsal dress can be as formal or casual as the event you’re planning and you only need to find one clothing piece for the outfit (no coordinating of bottoms and tops!)
When you have a million other things to plan a dress keeps this one thing simple!
You might want to consider a few things to help you make this important dress-buying decision:
Dress Colour: If you’re fretting over what colour rehearsal dress to wear, stick with a light neutral (like cream or light gray) or a dress in the colour your wedding party will wear at your wedding.
Dress Style: There is a HUGE range of dress styles that would work for a rehearsal dinner. Choose your most comfortable go-to style so you can focus on the event without fiddling with your outfit. Keep it classy. Too much skin at a respectable event like this one will set a confusing tone for guests.
Accessories: Once you’ve chosen a dress all that’s left are the accessories. The simplest approach would be to choose accessories that match the metal of your engagement ring. Nude shoes match everything. A clutch in a coordinating colour to your dress works well (like pictured above) or an even easier solution would be to choose a clutch also in a metal the same colour as your ring.
Most of all try to take the pressure off yourself. Your partner thinks you’re beautiful just the way you are. Whatever you choose to wear, as long as you feel great, they’ll see your beauty shining through you.
